Two hometown girls, Kathy Harris and Darlene Miller, have launched New Life Micro Greens, LLC, offering Okeechobee, FL and surrounding areas the highest quality, locally grown, delicious and nutrient dense microgreens.
Born into an entrepreneurial family, I have always wondered what it would be like to work at growing a business I enjoyed. My husband, David, stumbled onto microgreens online a few years ago. My passion for learning more about these little powerhouse bundles of nutrition, growing and sharing with family, friends, and the local community has resulted in launching this exciting new chapter of my life. – Kathy
I worked 20 years in the grocery business and another 18 years in sales. I have been involved in music for 40 years, singing with groups as a soloist and worship leader. I enjoy spending time with grandkids and adventures in nature. I am newly retired and so excited to be a part of this new business venture. – Darlene
